Vampire Hair Replacement

Hair loss can be a highly upsetting issue for both men and women. Several medical conditions and lifestyle factors can cause it. The good news is that almost all forms of hair loss can be stopped with treatment. One of the most effective methods for reducing hair loss involves platelet-rich plasma, also known as PRP, used in a procedure known as Vampire Hair Restoration®.

Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is one of the most advanced, effective natural treatments for cellular repair and rejuvenation throughout the body. PRP consists of concentrated platelets rich in bioactive proteins, which release growth factors to stimulate cellular regeneration and accelerate tissue repair. The benefits of PRP were initially used in wound healing, dentistry, and the treatment of sports injuries but have now evolved to address aesthetic concerns. PRP is created when your blood is drawn and spun on an FDA-approved centrifuge.  This separates the layers. At the bottom are all of the red blood cells. Above is a straw-colored layer called the plasma, the liquid portion of our blood. Suspended within this layer is an amazing blood cell called the platelet. Extracting the PRP and injecting it into the tissue increases growth factors, collagen, and stem cells that rejuvenate, heal, and revitalize the injected area.

Using the science of PRP, your own stem cells will stimulate hair growth for thicker hair and receding hairlines.  With no downtime, this non-surgical procedure works well for people with hereditary hair loss like Alopecia, hypotrichosis (decreased hair growth) of the eyebrows, patients who’ve had surgical hair restoration previously, and those who want to maintain their hair without relying on medications like Propecia or Rogaine.  The process requires three to four treatments spaced about a month apart to capture all stages of hair growth.  You begin to see results as soon as a month after your last treatment. You will continue to see thickening over a 12–15-month period.  The results can last years.  Generally, after completing treatment, patients follow up once or twice a year to keep hair growth thriving.
