The cost of lab work varies depending on the type of lab drawn. To get started with hormone replacement therapy (women and men), an initial blood draw is $250. We have other options such as saliva and blood spot testing. Visit with our practitioner to determine which lab is appropriate for you.
Weight loss patients follow up monthly to monitor progress. Some medication dosages may be adjusted monthly, so following up on schedule is essential to ensure you are on the correct dose. Hormone replacement therapy patients have follow-up labs after therapy is initiated. Your lab may be drawn more frequently as long as adjustments are being made in medicine. Once you are in a maintenance lab, it will be drawn at least yearly.
