Our Story
Rejuvenate Batesville was founded by Zelda Epperson-May and Leanne Nail, two local CRNAs. Zelda and Leanne started with a vision to do something new and different in their hometown. Their focus on health and wellness led them to Alabama to train with Charles Runels, MD creator of the Vampire Facial ®, a procedure commonly used by celebrities. There they became certified providers of the Vampire Facial®, Vampire Facelift ®, Vampire Breast Lift ®, and Vampire Hair Restoration ®. O-Shot ®, and Priapus-shot (P-shot) ®. The two CRNAs are also trained in neuromodulators and fillers, specializing in fillers combined with platelet-rich plasma.
In an effort to expand services not offered locally, they recruited a team of Advanced Practice Nurses who saw their vision and had the desire to promote wellness. Realizing the struggle many men and women have with weight, the clinic offers a walk-in weight loss clinic. The team is also trained in IV nutrition and offers IV vitamin infusions.
Since opening in January 2021, the clinic has seen numerous success stories. They have expanded services now offering testosterone replacement for men. In addition to the IV vitamins, Rejuvenate carries an oral vitamin and supplement line, Pure Encapsulations. Only available from health care professionals, the company focuses on pure ingredients without all the extra fillers. Zelda and Leanne are excited about what is happening at Rejuvenate and are listening to the feedback of their clients about what services to incorporate next.
Meet Our Team
Jeffrey Angel, MD, MFin, FAAOS - Medical Director
Dr. Jeff Angel, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with an additional certification in sports medicine. He graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency and sports medicine fellowship at the University Hospital. Dr. Angel has been practicing in Batesville for over 30 years. In addition to his practice, Dr. Angel is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery for the University of Arkansas Medical Science and serves as the Outpatient Chief Medical Officer for White River Health. Dr. Angel also has a Master of Finance.
Dr. Angel is committed to his patients and community. He supports local sports programs and is on the sidelines of Batesville Pioneer football games every Friday night. Dr. Angel enjoys keeping abreast of new technologies and applying them to patient care. He believes in helping patients live a more productive life by restoring function when it is altered by injury or disease. Dr. Angel also believes in promoting wellness and disease prevention. He has joined Rejuvenate Batesville Weight Loss and Aesthetics as Medical Director and shares their philosophy of helping patients look and feel their best.
Zelda Epperson-May, DNP, APRN, CRNA, FNP-C
Zelda is an advanced practice board-certified nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing, Anesthesia, a Doctor of Nursing from Arkansas State University and one of the two co-founders of Rejuvenate Batesville. Zelda has been a nurse for over 16 years with the last ten years in the field of anesthesia and aesthetics. Zelda is a native of northeast Arkansas and received her undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University. Zelda is also an active member of the American Medical Spa Association and the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. She currently resided in Batesville, Arkansas with her husband Tony, and their son Landon.
Zelda has advanced training in neurotoxins, facial fillers, Clean Start Weight Loss, and the Vampire procedures invented by Dr Charles Runels. She was trained by Dr Runnels, founder of he O-Shot, P-Shot, Vampire facial and facelift, in the innovative use of platelet rich plasma to stimulate sexual wellness, stimulate collagen growth, and improve the overall appearance of the facial skin. She believes in fighting the effects of premature aging with innovative techniques offered at Rejuvenate Batesville by the experienced advanced practice nurses. The ongoing training by each member of the Rejuvenate team leads to a Successful individual outcome for each patient they encounter.
Leanne Nail, MSN, APRN, CRNA, FNP-C
Leanne is an advanced practice board-certified nurse and one of the co-founders of Rejuvenate Batesville. An Arkansas native, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas. She relocated to Batesville in 2005 and continued her education, receiving a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in anesthesia. In order to better serve our clients, Leanne also completed a post masters program and earned her certification in family practice. Leanne has over 20 years of nursing experience in critical care, anesthesia, and aesthetics.
Leanne is an active member of the Cellular Medicine Association and the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. She has advanced training in IV Nutrition therapy and Clean Start Weight Loss. Her aesthetic training includes neurotoxin, facial fillers, and platelet-rich plasma therapies. Leanne traveled to Fairhope, AL, to train under Charles Runels, MD inventor and founder of the Vampire Facial®, Vampire Face Lift®, Vampire Breast Lift®, Vampire Hair Restoration®, O-Shot®, and Priapus Shot®. As a single mother to a teenage daughter, with a full-time career, Leanne realizes the challenges women face in taking care of themselves. She believes in empowering women to feel, look, and be their best. She is excited to bring unique services close to home. The training she and the team at Rejuvenate Batesville has received fills a void in services offered in the area. Leanne and everyone at Rejuvenate Batesville is committed to providing high-quality care and successful individual outcomes for each client.
Christina Colvin, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Christina started her healthcare career in 2000. With over 20 years of experience, she is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Christina is a graduate of Chamberlain University with a Master of Science in Nursing. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Elite Nurse Practitioner. Christina has a love for learning and continues her training in order to be knowledgeable about new trends in health care. Her training includes Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, testosterone replacement therapy, hormone pellet placement, and weight loss. We are so excited to have Christina as part of the Rejuvenate team!
